FINRA does not state how the 5 unscored pretest items are distributed; this simulator spreads them in proportion to section size.

Navigation is modelled on FINRA's PROCTOR® tutorial: Previous/Next, mark-for-review once an item is answered, and a review list of answered items.

Are these the real SIE questions?

No. Nobody legitimate has them. FINRA's Rules of Conduct forbid reproducing or discussing exam content, including with instructors, and Rule 1210.05 treats using any portion of a real exam for study as a violation of Rule 2010. Any provider claiming to have the exam's questions is claiming to possess material whose possession FINRA treats as misconduct. What we built instead: original items written to the headings of FINRA's © 2025 outline, in the exam's format (80 items, four options, 105 minutes), each with a worked rationale and a verified answer.

    No pass guarantee

We do not offer one. FINRA reports the SIE as an equated score on a 0–100 scale, statistically adjusted for the specific form each candidate receives; a practice score here is a raw count on our items. The two are different measurements, so no practice result can promise an exam result.

    What you are not buying

    • Not FINRA's questions. Every item is original and written to the outline's headings. FINRA's Rules of Conduct treat reproduction of exam content as misconduct, and no legitimate provider has FINRA's questions.
    • Not a predicted score. We report raw percentages and per-section counts. We do not display a predicted equated score, a pass probability, a readiness percentage or a percentile.
    • Not investment advice. The site explains what the exam tests, using hypothetical instruments and fictional issuers. Nothing here recommends, rates or ranks any actual security, fund, product, strategy, broker or firm.

    Which one to choose

If you have not yet taken a timed full-length run, take the free one first; its per-section results will tell you whether Section 2 is your problem or whether the gaps are spread across the outline. If Section 2 is the problem, the drill covers it. If you want repeated full-length measurement across forms that do not repeat, Full Access is the one built for that.

This is exam preparation, not investment advice.
